I work with authors, editors, and agents to craft great book ideas and guide manuscripts from proposal to publication. Drawing on editorial acumen and a knowledge of what works, I help navigate the publishing process through any or all stages, whether starting with blue sky brainstorming or reshaping an existing-but-troubled work. My approach is holistic and customized, valuing the process as well as the result. I specialize in nonfiction topics including self-help, how-to, health, wellness, lifestyle, leadership, parenting, pop culture, and pets. Most of the books I've worked on aim to inspire people to improve their own lives and the world around them, and I’ve collaborated with yogis, doctors, doulas, fitness experts, spiritual gurus, animal advocates, entrepreneurs, and award-winning brands including Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Outside, Backpacker, Parenting, The Honest Kitchen, and Wanderlust Festivals.

My twenty-plus-year publishing career includes serving as acquisitions editor at Random House, Simon& Schuster, Chronicle Books, and Rodale Books, and most recently, as executive editor of the Falcon imprint at Globe Pequot Press. Books that I co-wrote include The Doula Deck (2021) and Mamaste: Discover a More Authentic, Balanced, and Joyful Motherhood from Within (2019), both published by Chronicle Books.

I have also been honored to serve as a workshop evaluator and guest speaker at the Columbia Publishing Course, the University of Pennsylvania’s Kelly Writers House, the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies, the Harvard Health Conference and the San Francisco Writer’s Conference.

I’m grateful and proud to be a professional book champion. I'm also an amateur classical vocalist, a one-time marathoner, and a devoted mom to my two daughters and our rescue pup.
